ONLINE INSTRUCTION AND MENTORING

I offer Online Instruction and Mentoring using interactive videos, voice, webcam, and text messaging.    The system is a centrally located all inclusive private service that I subscribe to called Voice Thread (http://www.voicethread.com).  The name Voice Thread  is a little deceiving because it’s not only handles voice but can also display images and image download, movies, and comments/questions by you or me in either of 5 ways (voice, webcam, text, phone or file upload.

With VoiceThread,  conversations are collected and shared in one place from anywhere in the world. All with no software to install.

A VoiceThread is a collaborative, multimedia system that holds images, documents, videos, and allows people to navigate slides and movies .  You and I (as the instructor) can leave comments/questions in 5 ways - using voice (with a mic or telephone), text (by just typing on your keyboard, audio file upload`, or video (via a webcam).  Each instruction Session is shared between all  subscribers to the session

Users and instructor can doodle while commenting, and pick which comments are shown through moderation.

You don’t need to sign in or register (free registration) for this free video but if you subscribe to one of the subscriber sessions you’ll need to register on Voice Thread’s website.  It’s free and all your sessions you subscribe to can be stored indefinitely in your account so you can return anytime and re-take any session.  This is very handy because the sessions will always be updated by new comments and new content from the instructor.
